Taste of Calgary
This year, Taste of Calgary will run from August 3rd to 7th. This favorite annual food and drink festival gives visitors the chance to try all kinds of new flavors, while enjoying the Calgary summer sunshine and live music. Visitors buy tickets for $1 each and use the tickets to pay for samples from an abundance of vendors.
In addition to the chance to try food and drink creations from a variety of local businesses, you will get to experience live entertainment, interactive activities, and booths from artists and entrepreneurs in the city.
The Calgary Zoo is fun for the whole family, but at Zoo Brew it's especially fun for the grown ups. 2023 Zoo Brew will take place on Saturday, June 3rd when the zoo stays open after hours for the fun beer-centric festival.
Sample beer from over 20 local breweries, in addition to fun food pairings. VIP tickets include additional food pairings and live music, as well as access to unique animal encounters.
Afro-Caribbean Food Festival
On July 22, Calgary's Afro-Caribbean Food Festival will take place in Celebration Square. Celebrate African and Caribbean culture through food, music, and meeting your neighbours at this family-friendly summer festival. Calgary International Beer Fest
Beer connoisseurs won't want to miss the Calgary International Beer Fest on May 3rd and 4th. For the best experience, get a VIP ticket for the entire weekend to enjoy tastings, beer seminars, special lounges and entertainment, and more. This is the largest beer festival in Canada, bringing craft breweries from around the province together to celebrate the art of beer. The festival will showcase over 700 types of beers, spirits, ciders, and meads.

Grazers Dining Series
For a fun night out, check out the 18 and up Grazers Dining Series at the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo. Enter the zoo before dinner, and then sit down for a carefully curated meal complete with local drink pairings. The event will also feature a guest speaker. Each date has a different theme and menu, so you just might want to book a few tickets. The Calgary Zoo is located in East Calgary.
